Why All major petroleum exporting countries have active refineries Except NIGERIA

There are a few reasons why Nigeria, unlike other major petroleum exporting countries, does not have active refineries for local consumption of petroleum products. prominent amongst the reasons includes

Corruption and mismanagement. Nigeria's oil industry has been plagued by corruption and mismanagement for many years. This has led to the neglect of the country's refineries, which have become outdated and inefficient.

Oil theft and pipeline vandalism. Nigeria also suffers from a high level of oil theft and pipeline vandalism. This has made it difficult to maintain a steady supply of crude oil to the country's refineries.

Government policies. The Nigerian government has also made some decisions that have hindered the development of the country's refining industry. For example, the government has imposed high taxes on imported refined petroleum products, which has made it more profitable for companies to export crude oil than to refine it locally.

As a result of these factors, Nigeria has been forced to import most of its petroleum products. This has made the country more reliant on foreign oil and has increased the cost of fuel for consumers.

However, there are some signs that Nigeria is finally taking steps to address these problems. The government has recently announced plans to invest in the refurbishment of the country's refineries. It is also considering lifting the ban on the importation of refined petroleum products. If these measures are successful, Nigeria could eventually become self-sufficient in petroleum refining.

In addition to the reasons mentioned above, there are a few other factors that may have contributed to Nigeria's lack of active refineries. For example, the country's population is much smaller than those of other major petroleum exporting countries, such as Saudi Arabia and the United States. This means that Nigeria has a smaller demand for petroleum products. Additionally, Nigeria's refineries are located in the Niger Delta region, which is a major area of conflict. This has made it difficult to operate and maintain the refineries.

Despite these challenges, there is hope that Nigeria will eventually be able to develop a thriving refining industry. The country has the potential to be a major player in the global oil market, and having active refineries would be a key part of achieving this goal. So far Saudi Arabia has the most active refineries in the world, followed by the United States and Russia. These three countries are also the top three crude oil producers in the world.

The other countries on the list are also major crude oil producers, but they have fewer active refineries. This is because some countries, such as China and India, import more crude oil than they produce. The number of active refineries in a country can vary for a number of reasons, including the size of the country's oil reserves, the demand for petroleum products, and the government's policies on oil refining.

Summary: When they say " God bless America ", I don’t think it is because the people who reside in USA are so religious. I think it is more about the determination of the people towards solving challenges facing them.

Hospitals, Refineries, etc, are established in Nigeria and people (Nigerians, Muslims and Christians) are employed to manage them. But what do we get the moment these persons are entrusted with mismanagement & control of these common wealth...  embezzlement of funds and other primitive wealth acquisition. My Yoruba people say 'A se ni nse ara e'. What we sow is exactly what we harvest! We mismanaged our 3 refineries and all packed up simultaneously, some years ago.

Days of reckoning are here! You see, there is no magic that Heaven will do if we won’t do what is right! Ccritical thinking towards problem solving, doing what is right and at the right time, are vital to a prosperous and peaceful Nigeria.

VISA BAN AS A STRATEGIC POLITICAL TOOL BY THE US FOR STRENGHTENING DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA

The United States imposed a long-term visa ban on some justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2016, and recently in 2022 and 2023.

An unconfirmed report, Trending on various social media platforms claims The United States imposed a long-term visa ban on some justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2016, and recently in 2022 and 2023. The ban was imposed in response to the justices' decision to uphold the election of President Muhammadu Buhari, who was widely seen as having lost the election. And also, most recent that of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Nigerian President. The ban was also seen as a way to pressure the Nigerian government to improve its human rights record as well as to strengthen democracy and democratic structures and institutions in the country.

According to the report, The Americans have slammed a long-term visa ban on some Justices in Nigeria. The list in no particular order is said to be headed by CJN Ariwoola Kayode.

The other justices on the list who were banned according to the report include:

Walter Onnoghen, the former Chief Justice of Nigeria

Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, the current Chief Justice of Nigeria

Olukayode Ariwoola, a justice of the Supreme Court (CJN)

Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, a justice of the Supreme Court

John Inyang Okoro, a justice of the Supreme Court

Amina Augie, a justice of the Supreme Court

Uwani Abba-Aji, a justice of the Supreme Court

The visa ban has been criticized by some human rights groups, who argue that it is a form of punishment that will only harm the justices and their families. The Nigerian government has also criticized the ban, calling it "unwarranted" and "unhelpful."

The visa ban is still in effect today. It is unclear when, or if, it will be lifted the report states.

In addition to the visa ban, the United States has also imposed other sanctions on Nigeria, such as restrictions on military sales and financial aid. These sanctions are intended to pressure the Nigerian government to improve its human rights record and to hold accountable those responsible for human rights abuses.

The visa ban and other sanctions have had a significant impact on Nigeria. The Nigerian economy has slowed down, and there has been an increase in political instability. The sanctions have also made it more difficult for Nigerians to travel to the United States.

The future of the visa ban and other sanctions is uncertain. It is possible that the United States will lift the sanctions if the Nigerian government makes significant progress on human rights. However, it is also possible that the sanctions will remain in place for the foreseeable future.

There's also investigation of how they have interests in some non-disclose offshore companies. Notably one justice like that, not Ariwoola Kayode.

Professor Mahmood Yakubu is also banned. I heard for 15yrs. He's also said to have misappropriate the EU & partners funding's of the 2023 general elections. This became subject to investigation when INEC tendered a report of it's spending's. It came as a shock to him because he has lots of investment abroad. He's so scared many of them would be made public soon. That's why he's rarely seen in public giving speech of how the election is the best.

Mrs. Adichie Chimamanda letter to the States Department played a strong role in making some top-ranking Democrats take a second look on what's happening in Nigeria on the subject matter.

THEIR FINDINGS: America gave INEC a lot of money to straighten out democracy but Prof Yakubu & Mr. Festus Okoye ‘’run them street’’. The American consulate in Abuja has been penetrated by hush funds from Asiwaju. In at least one recommendation rendered by her, was found to be false and misleading of the realities on ground.

Amazon AWS didn't have a glitch on that fateful Presidential election day. The Americans have a direct report on this. How, when and possibly who gave the order to switch off the plug during result upload for presidential election.

A call was intercepted between the boss of a security agency acting under the direct order of the president coercing the judges to a possible Rerun judgement. Oga Wole Olanipku (SAN) is on the known of this too and quickly try to extricate himself before he too chop ban and investigation for money laundering for matter he no know. Abobi no wan put hand make them no carry am go where he no knows...lol That's Why he hurriedly closed their response.

CBN governor Emefiele was an instrument of Breton Woods institutions, and acted on the order given to him on the naira redesign, all in a bid to strengthen Democracy. Buhari has no option than to provide protection while he run the blockage on Asiwaju. These Breton Woods institutions knew of Asiwaju drug past & his links with shady cartels in Europe with lots of money.

Asiwaju go catch Emefiele thinking say the GUY was acting alone without knowing his most recent visit to the USA was to make a deposition of his take on the elections.

Just like Putin underestimating Zelensky as a comedian, Asiwaju too underestimate Emefiele. Now Asiwaju don buy market. When a mad man dey dance for street, look closely you go see who dey play the drum. Or if a small street cult boy blocks you to optain you, before you mend am look first whether him Capone dey around, or else you go collect. Buhari kuku ma comot hand. Bawa & Emefiele were simply following instructions from DC. Now Asiwaju don buy market. People wey send Emefiele & Bawa work can really mess Asiwaju beyond repair, including denying him possible health treatment/recharge in Europe when they rip him out of Aso Rock. Asiwaju if you rugged, now's time to show it. He thinks it's some section of Nigeria he can buy with corn & cassava.

Forget hustlers like Omokri. They no get level at all. Even to organize a Public Relation outing for AA, they just set Atiku up for disgrace.

As jungle dey mature, remember the Nigerian youths have formed the needed Critical Mass to force reforms!

FACT.• CJN & some selected judges are currently facing Travel ban due to their planned meddling on the ongoing PEPT at the last minute. This was as a result of the visit he made to UK disguised as been sick, whereas he's as fit as a young fiddle, possibly to meet Asiwaju who sneaked in from France. The UK healthcare system notified the Americans looking into the CJN unscheduled visit. His medical report is attached to prove a point.

• The visa ban became public knowledge when Justice Edun Kekere & co tried to attend a program in Houston recently. Protocol demands the CJN receive the alert for the famous decisions to ban him & members under him. Last year, only Edun Kekere was on Visa ban, now as many as eight Justices are! What a shame! Even North Korea aren't treated as this!

• According to my white Caucasian buddy who doubles also as a Free lance investigative journalist & private researcher, three calls were intercepted between Asiwaju & CJN, the selected judges & CJN and a Nigerian security agency directly under the presidency. If you say their name start with "grin" na you Sabi. Though The Supreme Court of Nigeria claimed in a press release that the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, did not have a telephone conversation with President Bola Tinubu, or anyone else, on the ongoing Presidential Election Petition on the 2023 election.

• The transcripts of the calls were also, attached and sent to the CJN as proof that they listen to anything they want, word for word. As protocol demands, he deserved to be shown why he's no longer a person who privileges of been Nigerian Head of Judiciary covers. He's a disgrace according to the strongly worded letter.

FACT. How the letter leaked out is a matter of controversy. Some say a disgruntled consulate worker saw it and quickly alert a top PDP stalwart who told Mr. Jackson. And the loquacious Mr. Ude ran to town with the news.

Nigeria is currently on trial; it's democracy.

The world is watching. Typical of Nigeria civil servants, they don't do their jobs. INEC collected millions of euros from foreign partners interested in democracy and see what they did and call elections. The report is out, flying swiftly from Abuja to Brussels & Washington DC. Asiwaju can't save them. They will all sink with him. All the properties they bought abroad would be placed on forfeit notice, as proceeds of corruption! Na this be Prof Yaks problem!

This is the effect: Prof Yaks, CJN & his henchmen are on the watch list of the CiA & other intelligence Agency. They're going after all their investment abroad staked under spurious names. No hiding place for them. Some of these investments involved physical appearance before any changes can be done with them. Kudos to POTUS Biden & SCOTUS Blinken. Like El Rufai ban, this one really choke, choke! Dumb judges for hire!

Visa ban is not something you easily remove. It might even affect their wards. Ask that upgraded Agbero personified; Mr. Akisanya Musiliu aka MC oluomo the bleaching king of Lagos, since he chop him own, he no dey talk again.

Underestimate Chinmamada Adichie on your own risk. She's one of the proteges of the Clinton's family. She has sent a damned memo to her god mom; Hilary Clinton. The evidences are there. The EU report was the final straw. Forget people like chop chop FFK, Onanuga, or that useless, hungry lawyer from urhobo; Keyamo, non of them can travel anywhere close to the developed world again. That house Keyamo bought might end up been seized as proceeds from corrupt acts. No be USA again.

FACT. There's a secret memo to APC NEC to prepare for a fresh election, this was the best the judiciary under CJN Ariwoola Kayode can promise. That message was intercepted also. The Americans know of these too. The Americans do not want a possible free win for Asiwaju. They knew he will simply buy his way in. This is the reason why Visa ban became a necessary tool to make sure evidences are used to make a fair judgement. And had to be made public. This fair judgement means, HE Peter Obi of Labor Party indeed won the election fair & square, and that the judges should give judgement without bending to pressure.

One thing you should know now, the justices can not validate Asiwaju presidency. I can bet $1000 on this. It's FACT. Asiwaju can not rule Nigeria. He's not allowed to even try. See what his trying is currently doing to the Nigerian Judiciary. Asiwaju actually messed with the wrong guy.
