Nigerian Customs Service Officials on the highways this festive season.

Ehizibue Suzy   took to her Facebook account to share her thoughts on the activities of the Nigerian Customs Service Officials on the highways this festive season.  . Read what she wrote after the cut...

Please if you plan to travel with your vehicle (that was imported less than 6 years ago) I plead that you pause and think about those sheets of paper known as "custom papers".The Nigerian Customs Service officials are not smiling; they are very willing to impound your vehicle for any irregularity on your custom papers, you then have to discharge all your personal effects from your vehicle and look for alternative transportation means of returning to your base or continue to your destination. This option is often after you and your vehicle have been detained, you would be of course offered bail but with attendant tough conditions – remember you are probably about 300km away from your base and about 250km to your destination – meeting those conditions is no tea party.

By the time you get to the compound / warehouse, humility would have become your second nature and anything they tell you, you will be in a hurry to comply. You will probably also understand that your case is small and insignificant when you see the assortment of exotic vehicles already impounded, and you hear people discussing the imminent forfeiture of some of those exotic vehicles to the Government.

My Christmas advice to all who might fall into this group is to please take your custom papers to any customs formation to confirm the validity of the documents you have, first they would likely check to see if adequate duty was paid then they would also check if the said duty was actually paid. If you have a friend that works with the Customs service better ask the person to help you check your documents before you set off rather than call them to help you beg when you have been caught.
The sad fact is that all these issues are caused by the collusion of some Customs officials and clearing agents, then another set of Customs officials would deal with your situation on the highway. We currently have about seven (7) Customs check point between Ijebu-Ode and Asaba. The experience is not what you would wish your enemy, especially not during the end of year festivities. Wish everyone a wonderful and blissful festive period, as you drive safe to arrive alive.

Official Sex Deal with Another Man's Wife.

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE REALLY DOING TOGETHER...? . . A boy and girl together brings sparks. Don't argue with me. Call it whatever you like. Besties FWBs Lovers Couples One Night Stands Sex Buddy Whatever... Put a boy and a girl together...sparks fly. Those that can control the sparks come out as saints... Those who can't come out scared. (Not all times tho). My question is simple. What are you guys doing together. You chat all day long, you text each other, you call each other. You are extremely sweet to each other... What are you people really doing together? You go to his house, you cook, you wash, you clean and the many others I have just decided not to write... What are you people really doing together? You give her money, pay her school fees, buy her everything she needs. You know she has a boyfriend, you just love to be around her and also empty your pockets on her... What are you people really doing together? The two of you are in the university, you stay off camp. She couldn't get hostel, so she packed her bags and comes to stay with you. You are like the husband, she is like the wife. When you're coming from class, you buy spaghetti and tin tomatoes, she cooks a good meal for you. You know that you won't marry her. You know... What are you people really doing together? He is a married man. He has a pretty wife and three kids. But, whenever he wants to go for a dinner, he rings you up. To you, you're just having fun and making some money on the side. He spends heavily on you. You console yourself with the fact that you don't sleep with him, you only keep him company. Sweetie, its not your job description to keep him company. Let his wife do that. What are you people really doing together? He is in Final year and you're just in Year one. He's 28 years, you're 17 years. He sleeps with you everyday. Yes, I know it could work, but, baby, the chances are slim. What are you people really doing together? Fellas, define this thing called relationship. There's no joke in love. Ask solid questions: Where are we going with this? What are we really doing together? Who am I to you? Make that call to your boyfriend today. Tell him you have something serious to discus with him. Call that girl and ask her the real questions. Don't shy away. Today, don't do it tomorrow. If its going to end, it's better you end it now...not wait till you've built your life around a fake thing. Don't be a ride along in someone's emotional journey...be the destination. Have a lovely day.

The DSS wanted to shoot Nyesom Wike.

The DSS in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, wanted to shoot Nyesom Wike the state governor; it all started in the early hours of Saturday when scores of DSS agents besieged the house of a Federal High Court judge at No. 35, Forces Avenue, old GRA. In what had been widely reported in various media platforms as “The illegal failed abduction of a High Court Judge”, Allegedly Led by Mr. Tosin Ajayi, Rivers State Director of the DSS; and Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr. Francis Odesanya.
According to Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu, Governor Wike’s Special Assistant on Electronic Media, The governor had rushed to the scene of the incidence as the chief security officer of the state, having received security information on the illegal moves, minutes after the operation started at about 1am on Saturday morning. The security operatives blocked the entrance of the residence of the judge, claiming that they were acting on orders from above. As they dragged Governor Wike, insisting that they must be allowed to leave with the judge,” the DSS manhandled the Governor pushing him around and injuring his hand. A few of them cocked their rifles and threatened to shoot him.
This development is certainly a very bad one for Nigeria’s democracy. Nigeria is really in big trouble. More so, some of the big question as is being raised in the social media by close watchers includes,
Nnaemeka Syl Nwosu
Who is the chief security officer of a state in Nigeria?
The governor of that state yet DSS wanted to shoot Nyesom Wike.
Is DSS now the body that probes fraud in Nigeria?
Let us assume you caught a judge in the act of committing a crime on the street is the procedure not collect evidence, collect statements and whatever you do respect the principle that only a competent court can try them and that they are innocent until proven guilty.
What is this trial by media and keeping judges jailed for more than 24 hours?
Grandiose manipulation of the masses and the media...Nigeria is in trouble.
DSS says they found money in the houses of judges. Why should anyone believe them?,
DSS claims they found money in the house of judges. Why do you believe them?
Remember that Buhari has a stake in muzzling the judiciary. How? The certificate case is enough to remove him from power at the very least.
Now take a critical look and consider these facts: as posited by Lere Olayinka
1) Search Warrants are executed between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM except on weekends.
2) Search Warrants are valid only if issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
3) Search Warrants obtained in one State of Nigeria cannot be executed in another State excepted it is endorsed by a Magistrate or Judge equal in rank to the one that issued the Warrant.
4) Only two or three agencies in Nigeria are charged with the investigation of corruption cases namely the EFCC, the ICPC and the Nigeria Police.
5) Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and VIPs who do not constitute a flight risk are usually invited to appear before investigation Agencies.
6) The National Judicial Commission (NJC) is the only body empowered to sanction Judges and Justices found wanting in the discharge of their duties.
7) A current Governor is the Chief Security Officer of his State.
8) A current Governor enjoys immunity in terms of prosecution and the inviolability of his person.
9) The Judges in question have issued unfavorable judgments against the arresting Agency in the past, thus casting aspersions on the motive for their arrest.
ISSUES FOR DETERMINATION
1) did the arresting Agency actually procure an Arrest Warrant from a Court of competent jurisdiction?
2) Did the arresting Agency adhere to the rules governing the procurement and execution of a Search Warrant?
3) Did the arresting Agency exhaust the option of extending an invitation to the suspects before procuring the Arrest Warrant?
4) Did the arrested suspects at any time pose the risk of taking to flight?
5) Does the arresting Agency not have people at all the land, sea and air borders to prevent an escape of the suspects?
6) Did the arresting Agency at any time write a letter to the National Judicial Commission (NJC) highlighting the offences committed by the suspects and demanding their release for an interview?
Also these one from Nkporon Oji Awala
BRIEF SCORE CARDS OF THE "CORRUPT" JUSTICES!!
Justice Liman gave judgment against Modu Sheriff and that hurt the APC.
Justice Liman also restrained INEC from announcing any results or figures howsoever generated or compiled purporting to be result of the re-run election for any or all of Khana, Bonny, Gokana, Andoni, Eleme and Tai Local Government Areas of Rivers State or any part of the re-run election scheduled for March 19, 2016 which election was subsequently suspended or postponed. Justice Liman narrowly missed been "stinged" by the DSS.

Justice Pingina insisted on due process in the Rivers State Governorship election tribunal sittings. He was removed midway during the sitting of the tribunal when APC saw that PDP was having the upper hand. The rest is history. Justice Pingina has just been "stinged" by DSS.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola, a brilliant judge, eldest grandson of a great former CJN of Nigeria, Adetokunbo Ademola was a judge who knew his onions. He came from a tradition. He could not be pushed around by powers that be. He ordered thrice that Dasuki be released. This did not go down well with Buhari and his government. They disobeyed his orders and concocted a new offence to rearrest Dasuki. Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court in Abuja also in May 26, 2016 dismissed Buhari's preliminary objection in a suit filed by an Abuja-based legal practitioner Mr. Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe concerning Buhari certificate (WAEC). Justice Ademola has just been "stinged" by DSS

Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, a brilliant judge of the Federal High Court, Abuja was the judge who warned DSS to stop disobeying orders of court and told them not to come to his court again if they would not obey court orders. DSS was angry with this. They wanted to "sting" him but got a wrong name. However, they succeeded in breaking into his house and beating up his brother only for them to look into the paper they had on them to discover that it was not his name that was on the paper. That sure hurt them.

JSCs Ngwuta and Okoro sat on appeals that gave decisions against APC interest. They have just been "stinged" by DSS.
